Sony  after Following the launch of its water- and dust-resistant featured smartphone Xperia Z, Sony has now launched a tablet in the same side.

Features tagged below:
  •         The Xperia Tablet Z has a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and the screen is shatter-proof.
  •         It comes with a quad-core Qualcomm processor.
  •         It runs on Android Jelly Bean (4.1.2).
  •         The tablet is sleek with a thickness of 6.9 mm and light (495 g). The build quality is good, but the tablet retains a slightly plasticky feel. The back panel is smudgy as it retains fingerprints.
  •         Select Sony Bravia TVs support wireless connectivity with the Tablet Z. If you're watching a movie on the tablet, you can use near-field communication (NFC) to transfer the video to your TV with just a tap.
  •         The device has 16 GB internal memory and Sony is bundling a 16 GB microSD card with the package. It supports up to 64 GB of expandable memory.
  •         The tablet has an 8-MP rear camera and a 2-MP front camera. The first impressions of the camera showed grainy images in night mode, but picture quality was good otherwise.

        According to Sony   
        "The tablet has some exclusive Sony apps, such as Sony Music (six months subscription free), Sony LIV (free access to SAB, Sony Entertainment and Sony Max channels) and X4 video (can play 4 videos at once)."


*Note: Xperia Tablet Z price tagged around  Rs 46,990. Sony will not launch the white variant of this tablet in India, so users will have to settle for black color.
